Tiny wave wall hanging
This petite but powerful weave is inspired by crashing waves and churning seas. It was created during lockdown and reflects on the unpredictability and unsettled nature of life, the need to adapt and bend, loss, hope and human resilience.
This little piece was woven using organic teal linen, recycled sari ribbon and organic raw slubby cotton.
It measures approximately 13cm x 40cm and comes ready to hang.
This subtle and soft weaving is made from organic cotton, recycled sari silk and hand dyed wool. It began as a piece about rolling mountains and soft dusk light; it expanded into a piece exploring the heart’s capacity for growth and love.

This delicate little weaving is inspired by layers of vibrant peeling paint on sun soaked doors in Greek villages. It explores the idea of age breaking down our layers and revealing truth, of the imperfect and of the complexity and contradictions inherent in identity and self image.

This is a striking wall hanging, created using a traditional frame loom using natural Icelandic wool, cotton, wild eri and tassar silk and recycled sari silk. It is hung on a wooden dowel.
This atmospheric weave is inspired by the black basalt beaches along the southern coast of Iceland with their miles of ebony sand and ferocious waves that send plumes of sea spray into the air, where they catch the light and bathe everything in a hazy cloak of mist.
It measures 25cm / 10in x 47cm / 18.5in including the fringe and dowel rod.

This is a striking and subtly textural piece, inspired by the natural world, but channelling a mid-century feel. It is woven in neutral colours of white, fawn and rust, using organic Khadi cotton yarn, Romanian wool and Welsh thick-thin yarn. It hangs on a wooden dowel and comes ready to display.

This cuff combines a rich colour blend of deep toffee brown, fawn, milky cream and soft peach. It is a highly textural piece featuring rya knots and woven tassels which stand proud from the cuff.

This is a delicate weaving handwoven on a traditional frame loom using natural wool, organic hemp, cotton, wild eri and tassar silk and recycled sari silk. Hung on a driftwood frame.
This highly textural and complex weave is inspired by the intricate shapes, patterns and colours of the tiny fragments of shell, stone and maerl found on the beaches of the Isle of Skye, worn and washed by the constant movement of the tide.
It measures 28cm / 11in x 50cm / 20in including the fringe and driftwood frame.

This jewel coloured weaving appears in my book Weaving and takes its inspiration from late summer Pembrokeshire skies. It captures the sky one evening on my way back from the beach, ablaze with stripes of orange and gold and deep dark purple clouds.
Woven with gold linen, indigo dyed cotton, recycled sari silk and wool. The weaving comes ready to hang.
It measures approximately 19cm x 48cm
